As I was impatiently waiting to move into our new home, I wanted to start planning as soon as I could. In the past, I was always so quick to buy decor that was just "cute" but I found that after a couple of months I didn't really love it as much as I thought. My goal was to plan a lot better this time around. Toolbox: Hire a friend Pages Designer Inspiration Now, I got some moral support in my design decisions for two reasons; 1) help with brainstorming ideas, 2) "What the hell are you thinking" moments: when your judgement is not on par, and they knock you back in your place. Its abrasive, and it works. I don't think I've ever used my computer so much in my life, or online shopped so much! The list of things I needed kept growing and so did the budget (YIKES!).
